Sun & The Moon

I am not a poet of much dignified honor,
Hence I needn’t use words of bravery and valor,
Still I venture on this journey to find various answers,
And I try to keep my feet grounded and not budge from my path because of
nature’s bouncers,
I look at the Moon and I feel it’s beauty is pure,
Then suddenly realization dawns upon me that my thoughts are immature,
I gaze through my telescope to look at the Moon,
and then I see ugly crevices and it dawns pretty soon,
I understood that I was wasting my time there,
Hence I waited for the Sun till morning to stare,
now I was there trying to have a play with the Sun,
but it avoided me and tried to steal all the fun,
for it’s light rays were glaring,
Looking at me as if preparing,
an assault to run through and burn my soul,
without any firewood or charcoal,
at the very moment I was enlightened to my core,
I understood the Moon that made me bore,
was obviously less talented than the Sun,
and always was quiet rather than having fun,
but it was modest enough to make me feel the air,
unlike the Sun’s proudy attitude which made me burn with flare,
The very moment I fell in love with the Moon,
for it was modest enough to accept me soon.
